construction of dry works

dry construction systems

Dry construction systems are construction methods that do not involve the use of water or the use of connection materials that need to be consolidated after installation, such as adhesives and sealants, in the assembly process. In the final phase of the assembly of the dry systems, the components, generally finished products as previously processed, are joined through mechanical joints (bolts, screws, etc.) to create either the entire building or some elements of the construction.

To use this construction technique for dry works it is necessary that during the design of the single element the connection and integration between the various construction elements is prepared, to allow the elements to be easily connected and to facilitate a quick installation and a future disassembly and reuse. In fact, a dry layered construction includes three functional elements that can be connected to each other: the structure, the outer casing and the inner casing.
